Title:  May we never lose the wonder of Jesus!

I Timothy 1: 12-18

The context of the letter Paul is writing is to address false teaching.  Paul takes this subject not in a dry academic way, but by sharing his testimony.  HE SPEAKS OVER AND OVER AGAIN OF CHRIST JESUS BEING THE CENTRE OF ALL WE DO AND WORSHIP.

 Questions:

  1. If you were to look back as Paul did, what would you overflow about in giving testimony of the Saviours work in you life?

  1. How powerful do we think our testimony is when speaking to others of Christ’s work in us?

  1. What does Paul mean by saying "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance"?

  1. Paul overflows with praise to God, verse 16.  How does such teaching help us in our worship to our Saviour?

  1. How might God use us to display his kindness and patience as he did with Paul and how?

  1. Is there really a danger from false teaching in our day and if so, what will keep us from such error?
Pray for our testimonies to powerfully demonstrate God’s mercy in the community.  Have a short testimony time......sharing of God’s mercy and love to you.
