Ice Breaker: If you could do your life over again, what would you do different and would you have chosen a different career path.

WORD:

Read Romans 8: 28

Questions:

1.       What is it about this verse that makes it sound so dangerous…or too good to be true?2.      How does this fortify us in our troubles or as Paul puts it in verse 18…these present sufferings?

3.       What does this verse call us to look for in the midst of our troubles?

4.      Paul roots them in the sovereignty of God, what does that mean to you ‘the sovereignty of God’?

5.      What ‘things’ in our lives might we be tempted to think God may not be interested in …..What does this verse make plain to us?

PRAYER: Do we know and have confidence in God’s rule in every situation?   Let’s finish by bringing all our perplexing issues to him big or small.  Let’s continue to pray for those who really need to know healing touch and his lordship over their lives at this time.
