Growth Groups

There are 2 growth groups in Mississauga, 3 in Oakville (including a 20's growth group that meets on Thursday), and 2 in Toronto (see www.nlife.ca for Toronto Growth Group info). Please contact the church office for times and places.

Growth Group Questions

Reading: Exodus 3

Moses was intrigued by the burning bush which caught his attention. In what manner does the church intrigue lost people so that they begin to seek God?

Looking back was there a person or some people whose lives intrigued you and made you curious about what being a Christian really was?

Reading: 1 Peter 3: 1 - 4 Peter speaks of living in such a way as to win those who are unbelievers we also find this in Matthew 5:16 in what ways can we live and be a provocation to those who live and work around us?

Jesus provoked the anger of the Pharisees, the love of Mary Magdalene and Peter to fall on his knees and say "Go away, I am not worthy to be near you." Do you think there is "good provocative" and "bad provocative" when it comes to living our Christian faith in front of the world?

Reading: Luke 7: 11-17

When Jesus raised the widows son it provoked the people to be aware that God had come to help his people, how do we communicate with unbelievers around us that god has come to help his people in Jesus?

Pray for one another that our lives would say to this world that he who has the son has life. Pray that those that we work and/or study with would see that being a Christian gives us abundant life rather than takes life away.
